Windows 7 has some new shortcuts for new features that were not in Vista or XP. In this article we will touch on some new as well as some not well known shortcuts from previous versions.
Starting with the Desktop shortcuts, we have :-

Moving on to the Windows 7 Task Bar shortcuts :-
Ctrl + Shift + Click on icon - Open a new instance with Admin privileges Ctrl + Click on grouped icon - Cycle between the windows (or tabs) in the group Middle click on icon - Open a new instance Shift + Click on icon - Open a new instance Shift + Right-click on icon - Show window menu (Restore / Minimize / Move / etc). thumbnail to get this menu. Shift + Right-click on grouped icon - Menu with Restore All / Minimize All / Close All, etc.

Alt + Left/ Right - Back/ Forward Alt + P - Show/hide Preview Pane Alt + Up - Go up one level
